Laptop bag

Last night I whipped up a laptop bag for my husbands MacBook. Merino wool inside, corduroy outside.

Complete with overlocked seams. ;)

Cold

It's been rainy and cold. Which makes me crave yarn. Err... Working with yarn. I pulled out an old earflap hat to finally add the finishing touches. I'm trying to figure out how to embelish it at the moment, but here it is. :)





The body is malabrigo super chunky thick and thin and I love it as much as every other malabrigo I've laid my hands on.

Bill, the cabled beanie

A friend commisioned me to make her a hat like my husbands, but in variants of green and here it is. I hope she loves it!

Current project

I'm working on some longies for my 2 year old since her prized ones were lost with the diaper bag. :(

Shell be out of diapers soon, but her sister will be able to use them once she can't.




This is a malabrigo colorway (the trim is aruacania) and, as always, it's knitting up fantastic!

Baby sweater

I recently picked up my first skein of dream in color. It's beautiful,
but I'm not terribly fond of how it feels. It's no malabrigo.
Hopefully it softens up in the wash.

I love the sweater. Just needs buttons.

Yarn

I dyed these the other night.
Tiny skein (about a balls worth) of wool
Alpaca
Peace fleece (wool and mohair)
8oz of wool
